The video engine (about 32 MB) is downloaded only after you choose a file and press Process — never automatically when the page loads.
There is no artificial usage limit and no account. Real speed and maximum size depend on your device and browser: large or long videos are slower and may run out of browser memory. A warning is shown for very large files, but no file is hard-blocked for size alone.
Text is rendered to a PNG on Canvas and then overlaid with FFmpeg. This avoids the missing font path in the browser engine and keeps the result honest.
A watermark is part of the picture once added. It cannot be cleanly removed from the output file, so keep your original.
Very small or very transparent watermarks are easy to crop out. Use a size and opacity that survives normal viewing.
No artificial usage limit: capacity depends on your device and browser. Large or long videos are slower and may run out of browser memory.

Frequently asked questions

Does this site add its own watermark?

No. No UMARIX watermark is ever added. Only the watermark you choose appears.

Which watermark is harder to remove?

A larger, semi-transparent watermark near the centre is harder to crop out than a tiny corner mark, but it is also more visible to viewers.
