โœ‚๏ธ Video Splitter

Split one video into two parts at a chosen time, or into equal parts for shorter uploads. Parts are downloaded together as a ZIP file.

Runs entirely in your browser with FFmpeg.wasm. No upload, no account, no video stored anywhere, and no watermark added by this site.

๐Ÿ“ Drop a video here, or choose a file

MP4, MOV, WebM and other common video files. One file at a time. Files are processed in your browser only โ€” nothing is uploaded.

Choose video

Before you press Process: the video engine is about 32 MB and downloads only when you press Process โ€” never on page load. Your video never leaves this device. No account, no artificial limit; speed depends on your device and browser.

How to use it

  1. Choose a video file.
  2. Choose Split at a time (two parts) or Equal parts (2 to 6 parts).
  3. Enter the split time, or the number of parts.
  4. Press Split Video and download the ZIP of parts.

Supported formats and limitations

  • Your video never leaves your device. Processing runs in your browser with FFmpeg.wasm; there is no upload, no account and no server copy.
  • The video engine (about 32 MB) is downloaded only after you choose a file and press Process โ€” never automatically when the page loads.
  • There is no artificial usage limit and no account. Real speed and maximum size depend on your device and browser: large or long videos are slower and may run out of browser memory. A warning is shown for very large files, but no file is hard-blocked for size alone.
  • Splitting uses stream copy, so split points may snap to the nearest keyframe, usually within a second or two.
  • Parts are delivered as a ZIP because browsers download one file per action reliably; unzip the file to get the individual clips.
  • No artificial usage limit: capacity depends on your device and browser. Large or long videos are slower and may run out of browser memory.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a split point slightly early or late?

Stream-copy splitting can only cut at keyframes. Use the trimmer in accurate mode if an exact frame matters.

How do I split into unequal parts?

Split at the first time, then split the second part again at its own time.
