๐Ÿ“ Video Resizer

Resize a video for YouTube (16:9), TikTok and Reels (9:16), Instagram square (1:1) or Instagram portrait (4:5), or enter a custom size. Fit mode pads the frame instead of stretching it; Fill mode crops to fill; Stretch mode changes the shape.

Runs entirely in your browser with FFmpeg.wasm. No upload, no account, no video stored anywhere, and no watermark added by this site.

๐Ÿ“ Drop a video here, or choose a file

MP4, MOV, WebM and other common video files. One file at a time. Files are processed in your browser only โ€” nothing is uploaded.

Choose video

Before you press Process: the video engine is about 32 MB and downloads only when you press Process โ€” never on page load. Your video never leaves this device. No account, no artificial limit; speed depends on your device and browser.

How to use it

  1. Choose a video file.
  2. Pick a preset (YouTube, TikTok/Reels, Instagram square, Instagram portrait) or enter a custom width and height.
  3. Choose Fit, Fill or Stretch.
  4. Press Resize Video and download the MP4.

Supported formats and limitations

  • Your video never leaves your device. Processing runs in your browser with FFmpeg.wasm; there is no upload, no account and no server copy.
  • The video engine (about 32 MB) is downloaded only after you choose a file and press Process โ€” never automatically when the page loads.
  • There is no artificial usage limit and no account. Real speed and maximum size depend on your device and browser: large or long videos are slower and may run out of browser memory. A warning is shown for very large files, but no file is hard-blocked for size alone.
  • Fit mode adds padding bars to preserve the original shape. That is intentional: stretching would distort faces and text.
  • Platform size recommendations change over time. Check the platform before publishing a video for a paid campaign.
  • Resizing re-encodes to H.264 and AAC. Upscaling a small video will not add detail.
  • No artificial usage limit: capacity depends on your device and browser. Large or long videos are slower and may run out of browser memory.

Frequently asked questions

Which mode should I use for Reels?

Use the TikTok/Reels 1080 by 1920 preset with Fill if your clip is landscape and you want it to fill the screen, or Fit if you must show the whole frame.

Will resizing make my video sharper?

No. Resizing to a larger size cannot restore detail that was never recorded. It only changes the frame size.
